Transmission Observation

At 60,000 miles I had my transmission fluid changed as per the maintenance book at the local dealer. They put in the new fluid that just came out. At first the shifts were lagging and not crisp. I have a 1,000 miles now since then, and the shifting is like a new car. I don't know what the difference was between the old formula or the new formula, maybe someone can chime in and help us out. The transmission flush is worth it.

I think your observation of the shift quality improving only AFTER 1000 miles has passed proves that the 3x3 transmission fluid change method is the way to go!
