Tranny delay and thud

There's only one thread on something like this with no resolution, unless i missed the search parameters.

If you're in reverse, then, put it in S or D, there's a 2-3 sec delay, then there a thud and click it bounces forward.

Sometimes while slowing down there's a stronger feel downshift.

Any ideas what needs to be done or kept an eye on before it becomes expensive, or is it normal on Hondas?

The delay is usually normal. I would look into either motor mounts or the pressure switches.

There's no good way to check on the switches. Most people just replace them and consider them "maintenance" item.

Would you have knowledge of a good kit i can buy that has all switches and tranny maintenance?

I don't even know how many switches are on there..

And can't it be a shift solenoid?

# 11 and 12 is what you need with new washers.

Thanks!

On that list there's two switches total. Are there more?

Yeah it's 3 in total, i counted them wrong. I had replaced mine in my previous KB1 as they were causing blinking D light and car wouldn't go in higher gear.
