so I had a set of 2016 rlx wheels on my 2005 RL and it detected the sensors but didn't read them properly and gave an error

I installed some sensors from 2014 RLX thinking they might work (they looked identical to the original sensors from 2005 RL) but they also detect and not read the psi and give error

how do I know which type of sensors I need for my car?

and if I upgrade the tpms receiver unit will they work with the car?
has anyone done that?
I was thinking to get a tpms receiver from like 2011 2012 RL

yea but i sold those lol
got some ssr wheels now RLX were way too heavy they looked very nice tho
i see alot of nice RLs in this area also.
