Tire sensors

Tire sensors
Does it require resetting the tire sensors when the wheels are rotated? If so, does anyone know how?
I will be replacing the tires with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and not sure what happens to the car’s ability to determine what sensor is at which location if the installer did not replace the wheels/new tires at the original locations. This would be equivalent to rotating the tires.

I'd like to think it ouldnt matter but I dont know much about the system.
All I know is please give some feedback when you get the tires.
The OEM tirees are pissing me off more these days than before. I have had 2 times where the car has sorta slid while going around a semi-wet bend. Sheesh. Tire pressure didn't seem to be the cause and I put the blame on the tires.
Speaking of tire pressure, how come it recommends the front tires be at 32psi and the rear tires at 30?

It does matter if the system was similar to the GM ones. Two areas that are important when changing the tires and rotating the wheels are:
1. Avoid damaging the sensors when removing the tires from the wheels
2. Reprogramming the sensors to read the correct locations of each sensors after rotation
These are what I learned from the internet, but I could not find any specifics related to the RL's system. My luck would have it that what could go wrong would go wrong. I think I will definitively ask the installer to acknowledge that he knows how to properly work with the sensors before I have him install the tires. I need to get as much information as possible about the RL's tire pressure monitoring system before the tire installation.

Is it possible that the front tire pressures are higher because the RL is front heavy?

I found these two links. I hope the RL uses the same system.

update on the sensors:
This morning I drove the RL with the temporary tire on. The MID still indicated that the tire monitoring system was working, and it showed normal pressures for the 3 regular tires and 58 psi for the temp tire. Then 6 miles into the trip to my tire dealer, the Tire monitoring system lited up in the MID, the pressure readings went blank, and the Nav screen showed the warning that I should go to the dealer with the voice warning that this could occur if I had the temp tire on or I had replacement wheels that were not competible with the system.
It is interesting that the whole system went out, including readings for the other tires that were still good. I wish it provided the warning that one tire was reading high and kept the other tires' pressure readings on.
