Interesting Comparison Tidbit

Certainly not trying to start another comparison thread. That's been run into the ground. Just thought you'd find this interesting...

I received an invitation to an "M intro party" at the local Infiniti dealership. Since they're not the dealership I normally deal with I called my salesman and asked if they would be doing the same thing. (They're not, but that's beside the point.)

During our conversation, the Infiniti salesman was of course raving about the new M. What I thought you guys might find interesting was he told me their entire sales force was taken to a test track and given the new RL and BMW 530 to compare against the M. He started telling me how much better the M was, but all I was hearing was "the RL is now amongst a great group of luxury/performance cars". Great to be on the competition's radar screen!

I agree...it really does represent a major turn. It's so cool to see this new RL being taken very seriously. The RL competes and has beaten much of the competition. Kudos to Acura.

Cool.

I look forward to possibly driving the new M and seeing how good it is.
