Switchable interior fuse link for V1 install?

I have completed a Valentine 1 installation on the RL using the suggestions posted on the TL site as follows:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ight=Valentine

The TL posting makes reference to the power windows fuse being switchable with the Main Power Switch. I tried both the left rear passenger window fuse # 24 and the driver window fuse # 27 and find that neither are switchable from the Power Window Main Switch located on the left arm rest.

So, at this point I have to remember to manually turn off the Valentine using its on/off rotary dial rather than relying upon ignition switching or the power window main switch.

Does anyone have a fuse recommendation for a direct wire of the Valentine supplied remote power adapter that will give me ignition switching?

BTW, using a plastic spatula and a cake icing spreader, I did not have to remove any part of the interior trim other than the footwell trim that covers the fuse box.

I'm not sure what all you're trying to do, but I can tell you what I did to connect my
Escort 8500.

I used the ACC fuse at position 32 on th driver's side fuseblock. It switches with the ignition. I used an Add-A-Fuse, which you can get at most auto parts stores. It turns one fuse outlet into two, with each circuit separately fused, and it is a simple plug-n-play deal. I grounded to a screw in the vicinity (can't tell you which one right at the moment, but check out a few for ground until one works).

Easy, quick and it works like a champ.

Thanks for the suggestions

Thanks for these posts. I'm just back from a trip and I'll try the accessory connection this weekend.
