Swapping tires

I'm in a precarious position. I've got a set of Pilot MXM's that I don't like and would like to swap them for a set of Pilot Sport A/S. Anyone out there in RL Land, could you recommend a shop to swap them at in the D/FW area?

How about sam's club or wal-mart? I don't know if they will do the swap either though.

Also, try calling a couple other discount tires - I called the discount here and they said they would do a trade-in credit on the OEM tires.

Most of the smaller shops aren't open today or tomorrow. Discount gives a credit all right...$20 per tire. As the manager said, "We don't sell used or partially used tires. The most I could give you is $20 per tire. You're better off running the tires until replacement is needed."

Hmm... did you try other discounts? The one here offered me $115 each, but belle tire (where I ended up going) offered me $135/per
