a) Battery is dead again.
b) Current leak causing a) above.
c) Starter problem.

Happened to me, too, a year ago, so I know the feeling. Had to flatbed my car to the dealer for a fix. I ended up having b) .

Thanks but I really don't want to get ripped off by the dealer! I hope it's an easy fix problem!

I just put a new one with more cc's like 3 months ago! The lights come on but won't start only when it feels like it! I definitely have to take it to get it fixed on Monday!

sorry to hijack the thread...
My Acura battery lasted 5 years and still had life on it when I replaced it two weeks ago...with another Acura battery! 36 month free replacement, 100 month pro rated...$80.

There was a service news bulletin about certain Acuras having a parasitic draw, early RLs among them. Look in the 2005 and 2006 range.

Look in the ServiceNews and see what they said to do. It's been awhile since I saw the article, but it is a start. I don't recall if you needed a special scan tool to check for parasitic draw, but there was some procedure that at the time was not outlined in any software or service manual...

You may end up going to the dealer, but if you can show them the servicenews when they charge you, to prove it was a known issue, you may be able to get some relief.

All of this is just my speculation....no actual history of this.

This battery problem seems common as I have it too. Any more info on the service bulletin?
