Sticky dragging power windows

My car is 20 months old and the power windows are getting a little "sticky" going up and down.

In the past, with other cars, I have tried WD-40 and Silicone spray on the felt\rubber channel and in only a few weeks that only made matters worse.

Lately, I've heard of using vegetable oil, rain-X or Shin-Etsu silicone paste, although I'm reluctant to try these due to my past experience with making things worst.

I live in Florida and this happens when it is hot or cool and on both front windows. Also, the exposed section of the felt channel looks in excellent condition.

I'm fairly certain it is only friction between the window and channel causing this. Anyone know of a "harmless" window channel lubricant or solution for the sticky window problem?

Take it back to the dealer and let them fix it. I had t he same problem with the driver window, and whatever they dealer did, its still working just fine.

Let the dealer fix it, if you screw up the channels or more then they may not do it under warranty.

Dealer time.

WD-40 is not a lubricant but a water displacer. If anything, you should use Honda silicone lubricant in the tracks, but definitely not WD-40. The Honda silicone spray is available at dealers, and was recommended years ago for the G2 Legend with sticky/slow windows...but that was well after warranty expiration.

If you are still under warranty, use it.

I am told Honda does not sell the silicone anymore, great product.
You have to buy at other stores and other brands.

BTW, I meant, use the warranty, not the silicone spray
