Anyone have any issues with squeaks from the center console. Once the weather turned colder, I started hearing squeaking from the area directly to the right and left of the ashtray. Those vertical pillars that run along the frame of the center console are made of hard plastic and they are what is causing the noise. When I compress them with my fingers, it stops. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and taken action to correct it.

 

Yes, many have had this problem. The solution is to take to console 'cover' off and line edges with sticky back felt. Be generous with is. If you do a search there have been step-by-step pics of the process posted.

 

I should be going to the dealer soon.

 

I hope your dealer is better than mine. Each time I took it in and mentioned this annoyance, I was told 'could not duplicate' even though my service advisor heard it when I took him for a test drive.
