Ok so i am curious i had a RDX loaner for a couple days and noticed while listening to a mp3 cd i could change folders easily by pressing a button or holding the button on the steering wheel. Now that i have my RL back i'm curious to know if i can change from folder to folder with out having to either press skip 50 times to get to the track i want or wait for the car to fully read the mp3 cd and then go into the audio screen and go through folders that way. I hope not cause i usually have about 120 tracks on my mp3 cds and i hate going through all those tracks.

 

I had posted the same question quite some time ago. Interestingly, last night I found a solution (at least for a cd of mp3's I burned). I'm not in the car right now, so I'm going on memory. But when listening to the CD, press the audio button. I noticed the main dial has a feature to change folder. I had never noticed this previously. It displayed the folders on the CD so I could choose the folder and then the display showed the list of the tracks.

I did notice however, this did not work on one of my purchased DVD-A (Seal Greatest Hits) - so YMMV.
