Exclamation Side mirrors don't return to normal after Reverse

I started to experience several times a day the problem which was already discussed here - when transmission is turned to Reverse one of the side mirrors inclines down, which is nice feature, but then after I switch to Drive it sometimes "forgets" to return to the normal position. This is serious safety hazard, because you find that it shows ground only when you look at it trying to change lane.

I called Acura client services at 1-800-382-2238 to report this problem and they sent me to the dealership (which is totally senseless) claiming that it must be something wrong with my particular car because they don't have other people complaining about it!

Come on people, don't eat that, call them and complain! Or they would never fix it and we risk our safety because of that problem!

I just put a deposit on an RL, but if I experience this, I will send a letter to ACS, and you should also send a letter. Tell them this is a common problem. I would print out threads showing other people have the problem. It is a good tool to make them take a more serious look at it.

Acura Client Services - and yes, they are virtually useless most of the time. It takes a lot to get them to act and do anything for you.

I had that problem, but the dealership said that the computer needed to be reset...or I think it was the computer. Whatever it was, I never had the problem again!
