My Shawd light is on and the navigation screen has a all wheel drive dtc:81 error code on it. The car has a bad rear left wheel bearing that I'm waiting to get fixed. Can a bad wheel bearing cause shawd issues?

Probably the ABS sensor is getting a bad reading, or has even been damaged - depending on the amount of play in the bearing.

Computer doesn't like the signal.

I'd check the battery connections and fully-charge it, since it's easy and you never quite know with RLegendos.

 

I would check the fuses to be safe. I was doing some tinkering and noticed unplugging the VSA fuse made my AWD light come on

 

Checked fuse all was good. Gotta get that bearing fixed, to see if it fixes that error. I checked service manual and it state that a 81 code on HDS has to do with left coil( could be sensor or magnetic coil)
Hopefully when bearing gets fixed it can clear that up.
