I noticed that the 2008 models don't have the shark fin antenna that's on the 05-07, 09, an 10 models. If Acura figured out how to get XM reception without the sharkfin for the 08 model, why did they bring it back for 09+?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction without calling me out for being too lazy for doing a search. You're quite the gentleman.

At any rate, it appears that we'll never know the truth. I'll chalk it up in the same category as area 51, the grassy knoll, loch ness monster, etc.
