You can have your RL serviced at Honda if you wish, however warranty work not covered at Hona. I also find that if your Acura is serviced and the Honda dealer has to get a part from the Acura dealer, you will likely oay a higher price for the part as many Honda dealers add their markup to the retail price from Acura.

IMOP,if you are going to use a DEALER, use the Acura dealer.

Don't know about most, but I use the Acura dealer near me because they have a deal where if you have your Acura serviced there all the time, they'll warranty the drive train for the life of the car. This is probably something they do and all dealers might not do the same.

I do all of the routine maintenance myself, but for anything that's involved or requires warranty work, it'll go to Acura. My experiences with Honda service centers have been very unfavorable.

I agree with this 100%. There are different things about Honda's and Acura's....Like how to access the allergen filters is completely different task from a Honda vs. Acura. I too found it very unfavorable......
