Seat settings
Seat settings
Sorry for the dumb question but just when I thought I had mastered the tech in my 07RL I am having trouble with the seat memory. I originally set the seat very low when I first got the car. Since then I have reset for a higher position. It will stay that way for a few uses but every week or so it resets to the old original set up. I am using the same FOB but sometimes my wife gets in and uses hers, but she does not redo the memory set up. Any thoughts?

My guess is that you didnt store the seat setting to your fob and the seat moves to a different setting when your wife uses her fob.
Agree with last comment. The only thing I'll add is to be sure you are SAVING your new settings after you make them. (Press and hold MEM button and then press your 1 or 2 button). Sometimes I make minor adjustments and forget to save them. When my wife gets in the car the changes are lost.
If these suggestions are insultingly obvious, then I think you have a problem to report to the dealer.

if your wife unlocks the car with her FOB, the seat will adjust to her settings. If she does not lock the car after and you get in with your FOB, the settings will still be FOB2 until you either select Driver 1 on the door buttons or lock/unlock the car with your FOB
