I have noticed that my drivers seat is rocking back and forth when I brake or accelerate. You can feel it in the lower seat and hear it pop. Anyone else have this?

 

Have it checked, could be a loose bolt, let us know, it is a safety issue.

 

Yes, I have noticed the same thing in the last week.....I plan to have it checked at my upcoming oil change.

Never had this rocking seat thing happen to me but then my car is only 5 months hold with 4500 miles. Agree with kirbyflorida, this sounds like a safety issue and the dealer better put it right quick. Will follow this thread to see how things work out. Good luck.

 

Turn down the volume Just kidding, the usual culprits are a lose seat retaining bolt or power seat gear wear. Easy fixes.

 

Had my 05 in for service and they replaced the seat track. There was excessive play in it. All is fine now. The transplant went well.
