Unhappy seat comfort

arial

I recently bough the 05 RL. I love everything about it except I am having a real problem with the seats. I am a normal size 6 foot male but for some reason, these seats make my lower back hurt after 15 minutes of driving. I have tried adjusting them in every way but can't make the pain go away. I think its the bucket seat configuration that is not working for me but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any suggestions.

Um...is your posture good? Are you using the lumbar support?

I am 6 feet and find the seat to be pretty comfortable.

I guess if this is your first bucket seat you may need time to get used to it....I dunno

The lumbar support is important and it should be used, especially if the seat configuration is not fitting your frame. You may have to play with switch until you find a setting that works for you. I don't think it is called up by the driver's-side memory, so you may have to readjust it if someone else plays with the setting.

I'm 6' 1" and find the seat very comfortable-using the lumbar support is a must. In fact, these are the most comfortable seats I've ever had (including last generation TL and 2 Maximas)

Seating Discomfort

Interesting to read your posts. I actually bought my RL after experiencing seat discomfort in the Audi S4. The seats could never be manipulated enough to be comfortable and now in the RL I am very comfortable.

I do think that some people and their body types will never reacha comfort in certain seating configurations. Good luck!
