I have a few deep scratches on my Black 2005 RL and was wondering if they can be decently repaired as a do it yourself project. I have read about a Dupli-color scratch n fix repair kit and wondered if anyone has had any good luck with it?

Or are there recommendations out there for other products to build up the below surface scratches before painting them with thouch up.

How deep is the scratch? Is it through the clear coat? If it isn't, a good aggressive polish with a buffer should take it out. See if you can get a picture of it.
