Rl wheels and tire size?
Can I fit a 20x10 wheels on the rl with out rubbing and since it's awd do the tires all have to be same size or can I put wider tires in the rear

20x8.5 or 20x9 would be a safer bet. I can tell you right now that my summer wheels are 20x9 +35 offset with a 255/35R20 and they rub a tiny bit in the rear over big dips/bumps.
As for AWD and different sizes...that's up to you. If you hate yourself and prefer a stupid look over function, performance and practicality, you can put wider tires in the rear. The RL is not a 400hp RWD sports sedan. It does not need wider rear tires.

20x9 with +42 offset should not rub at all. Any lower offset and it's going to rub the fenders if they are not rolled. I would not put 10 inch wide tires in the front. If you could manage to pull it off, the negative camber will chew through the tires so fast.
