I will say that marketing for the RL has not been the best in the world.

But can they really explain it in a 30-second commercial, especially to people who don't even know if their cars are FWD or whatever? I don't even think Acura sales people can explain the system.

Your right, most Acura sales people cannot explain the system as I've found myself telling them about it and I don't even own the car. If Acura's ad company gets creative, then they can come out with something.

The first thing Acura needs to do is steal some of Lexus' marketing people. The second thing they need to do is get a new advertising firm. When it comes to Acura, Honda needs to think less like an engine company and more like a brand-management company.

I think an optional SH AWD system would be the smartest way to go with the tl. as for as the tl vs RL the big diffrence bewtween them if they had AWD would be luxery sport vs pure luxery. Alot of the older people want pure luxery while the younger crowed go with the tl. they would make so many more sales if they made that optional. im the type of person that likes option on a car so it would be nice if the tl could get some of the features of the RL like the active lighting feature. for me i would really like to have a heated steering wheel and cooling seats for those hot days. then i would be all set

To off set some of the price difference then maybe keyless access, heated/cooled seats and maybe OnStar could be bundled. A rear window sunshade should just be standard on both versions while a shade for the side windows can remain a RL feature.
even better idea
