Backfire, that's some nice hardware! What color is your 409 Chevy? As I recall, there were only a few bubbletop 409s produced.
Edit: Whoa! What happened to Backfire's earlier post? It was there and now it's gone.

lots of posts... little pics... if you don't know how to post pics... this is how:
![](http://www.hostmypiconline.com/images/untitled1b;ah.jpg)
You basically put the image location in between the "img" tags. If you need a host to UPLOAD pics, check out this thread:

Grrreaat photo work, synth!! Wow! Beautiful Z. The motion shot is superb. How did you set up for the shot?

Thanks. I didn't take the shots, those are actually previews for an upcoming magazine cover/article. The motion shots are done by attaching the camera to a "rig" and pushing the car (not driving it) with a very slow shutter setting.. this gives it the effect that you are going 100000 miles an hour .. then the rig is removed with photoshop during post processing...

Those photos of the 350Z,
Did you get them professionally done? A little photochopping? Film, digital point & shoot, or digital SLR? I need pointers on taking better photos...

It is fun, but gas prices put a crimp on some of the fun last year. Last two summers I didn't get to go out as much as I like. I start out the season with intentions of being on the water every week, but it never turns out that way and by the end of the season, when I look at how much I spend on slip rental, maintenance, gas, storage, etc., I say I'm going to sell it. Then around this time of year when it's cold I daydream of being on the water and all those good intentions come back.
I picked it up from a good friend of mine a couple years ago. It was barely a year old and had 15 hours on the clock. Got a great deal on her.
I've only been able to get it up to ~50mph on a calm day with just me on board. That's not the fastest out there, but pretty quick nonetheless.

I drive no other car as my wife's Accord, as much as she loves it, is simply no fun now that I've owned three Acuras.

Synth, those photos make me miss my 03 350Z. The interior was crap but driving was soooo much fun. Kinda miss that sporty feel and torque.

Illand, nice plane. Is it a 210 or a 182 RG? Is that site in the photo a grass strip runway?

The 996TT was my primary track car, but the Elise is much more reasonable in cost to track and I'm not risking the same amount of money out there if an accident were to happen. (I had an off-track experience at about 100 mph in the turbo that made me re-think what I track).
I love blue. The M5 and Elise are very similar in color, but the Elise is much more striking.

Until recently, I had all three gens of MR2's...an 86 Supercharged, a 91 Turbo, and 2000 Spyder.

I did *everything* to these cars myself...motor rebuilds, custom paint, etc. I learned a LOT.
But then I decided it was time to grow up a little. I sold the 86 and 91 and kept the Spyder for my "fun" car.
