RL insurance

Hello All,

Long term reader, 1st time post, owner of 07RL-Tech

Would be interested to hear about insuring 3 vehicles with myself as the only driver. Multi car rate insurance is still high in Austin, Texas. If others have found ways around the insurance money pit, would be very interested to hear.

Sorry if I have posted to the wrong forum.

Cheers, Rick

Welcome to the forums. I am sorry to have to post the following information.

Your post in the Black Market Forum has been deleted since you have not yet met the requirements in Paragraph A below. When you have met the requirements you may resubmit your post/thread.

A. New members may not post anything for sale or trade until they have been a registered member for thirty (30) days and have 15 posts. They may respond to other threads if they wish, and make purchases, and also post Want To Buy (WTB) threads, but do not mention any items for sale or trade when posting in other threads.

…..1. Members are cautioned not to post just for the sake of getting your required number of posts.

…..2. A maximum of three Black Market Forum posts may be used to meet the minimum requirement for members who intend to sell or trade items. The remainder must be meaningful posts in other forums. If you registered for the sole purpose of selling things, you are not meeting the intent of this forum, which is to give our active members a forum for buying and trading. All of your posts will be scrutinized and the management will make the final decision on your eligibility to sell items here. Members may still post WTB (Want to buy) posts or threads, or buy items, without regard to eligibility.

Please read THE *NEW* BLACK MARKET RULES for more information.

Friends in the Austin area tell me Farmers is really hot down there right now.

I have a friend whose son is a Farmers agent, and he tells me they're beating everyone's prices. You might give them a try. But the multi-car discount is certainly one way to get some savings, as is a multi-policy discount (like homeowners and car insurance in the same company).

I'm surprised to hear you are having that difficulty. I get a multi-car discount, as well as another discount due to my carrying my home, business, and even a small amount of life insurance with the same company.
