Removing "No keyless access remote" message

(stolen from another forum, but should be interesting to all in this forum)

If you leave the car with the remote while the engine is running you will get a message warning you of "No keyless access remote". You will be unable to delete this message the standard way.

To delete this message, press the CANCEL, MAP/GUIDE and MENU buttons simultaneously. This will put the computer into a diagnostic mode.
Once in this mode, follow the steps below to remove the message:

1. Select XM/HIP
2. Select XM (HIP) ECU
3. Select Diagnostic Info
4. Select the message
5. Select delete
6. Select yes.

While in diagnostic mode you can also see the position of the XM satellites in the sky...kinda cool

Please be careful with the other diagnostic modes, we do not know what they do (i.e. play at your own risk)
