my pop told me i got a letter in the mail awhile back about 3 recalls on the rl. i never got the letter from him and he doesnt remember what they were. is there truth to this?? if so what are the problems??

 

They are not recalls. They are TSBs. You have been here long enough to know to search for this! They update the software for the tranny, the onstar unit and it calls for the replacement of the acuralink module which fixes the XM delay and stops the battery drain.
