Finding Updates?
Finding Updates?
Is there a single place where you can check your VIN# and see what updates you need? I just found out today that I was supposed to be receiving Acuralink messages (I've owned my RL 1 month and never knew I was supposed to get messages)...called Acura and they said the dealer didn't add my updates. Jeez I've only had it a month...wonder how many others are missing.....
Yes...
This is a major issue for me with my 1999 Honda Accord. They do not make recalls/TSB's available to the public.
It took me over a year to track down a web thread that listed a popular fault code I had & its accompanied TSB!
Seems like every Honda/Acura enthusiasts site I was at that once had the TSB's published was told to remove them or else!
These days, you need to E-Mail individuals who have the TSB's to get them, as we do not publish what we have on the internet.
That sucks!
Believe it or not, that was a factor in my purchasing an Infiniti M35x.
TSB's are published & readily available to all! When I found them, I knew right their & then they had nothing to hide to its buying public! I was sold on the spot!
