Rare color combo RL

I just cam across this ads today and so far its the rarest color combo. If I am in the market for one, I would snatch this one up.

CBMS with Tech package and the interior is Ebony. It was the last year they offer Ebony for RRP.

Wow, that is actually pretty rare! Ive been told OBP with the ebony interior is around 50 US deliveries per production year. I wonder how rare this is.

that first review of the RL cracks me up! LMFAO

"From the moment you approach the car and the door opens automatically, you know that you are in for a treat. The car simply exudes understated elegance and precision. While others may find the appearance underwhelming, I find the car quite beautiful because of its unadorned exterior and dignified presence. There are simply no superfluous bulges or trendy design statements. The extreme thoughtfulness of the car's designers extends into the simplicity of turning the car on with the traditional placement for the ignition (no need for an unnecessary push button - I'm not a professional race car driver!) and the Welcome sign in the informational panel. The best part is driving the car with its instant acceleration and refined cabin. Having driven the car for approximately 2,000 miles, I can say honestly that the car is easily the best I have driven!"

Your color combo is pretty rare too, so far I only see 5 of them since 2005. What make this RRP so rare is it fully loaded at highest trim.

here is more pics

Didn't know it was rare....

Had one (no CBMS) sitting in the driveway since 2006....next to a 2004 TL same color combo.

Believe me, had to do some scouring to find them! (Dealer had to go out of town to pick both of them up)

Thank You Both . It was alot of hassle to buy this thing since i was in chicago and the car was is in boston. But after driving it was all worth it . The car ran like a champ from boston to chicago and i averaged 27.4 mpg on my trip. Never crossed 75 mph .

the only thing i need to fix is the chrome trim on bumpers, They chrome is peeling off

I think it is worth replacing it - that way car does not look crappy... I had mine replaced, and only piece left to replace (yes, I am lazy lol) is the lower lip of the grill ($65) - since I plasti dipped that specific piece, it looks better, but will replace it to match other chrome accents... trust me, more you drive the car more it will bother you because these cars are amazing!!!

Great car and great buy! Your 2009 RL has a lot of life left in it. I had a 2006 RL CMBS I put 173k on in 3.5 years. My current RL is the last one, a 2012 with 113k on. Make sure to have the front and rear differential oil, trans oil, and motor oil changed on a regular basis. I have never used any oil in either RL. The 2006 I had the drive shaft replaced at 90k+ miles (no charge under the Acura CPO warranty at the time) and I think a tied rod. The current owner replaced a leaking oil pump and I know he has north of 250k on it. A rock solid car. My 2012 has been flawless and still looks showroom new inside and out. The hand finished paint on the RL if properly taken care of can put most new cars to shame for paint clarity and depth of gloss. My 2012 RL has superior paint work relative to my mom's 2015 S550.
On my 2006 RL I did 29mpg on a trip from Mississippi back to northern Virginia. My 2012 gets as good as 27mpg hwy under ideal driving conditions. Once you get into local traffic though, they do about 18mpg. The SH-AWD is one of the best systems out there. I swear by the RL as one of the last of the Japanese tanks (along with the Lexus LS430/460). The RL is a terrific high value bullet proof (if properly taken care of) vehicle, offers relevant useable technology (the CMBS in my 2006 was awesome cutting edge tech at the time), is very comfortable, and in my 2 cases, has proven to be great long distance business use cruisers.
Do you still have the Michelin PAX tires? I had worked for Michelin when the PAX system was being developed and marketed to the OEM's. I had it removed from my 2006 RL as I knew the cost of replacements was sky high. The Acura dealer was kind enough to also install a spare tire and jack when they swapped out the PAX system. I currently have Michelin Premier A/S tires on my 2012 with 60k miles on them. Great all weather traction, no reduction in MPG's, and quiet. I am looking to get close to 70k on these tires. Enjoy and Best of Luck with your 2009!

Thank You . The only problem with mine is it’s 2005 as a result in longer run I might run into more electrical issues compared to a 2007-2008. I bought this car over the phone without looking at it in person. I just trusted my guts that the car is sitting at a proper Acura dealer not some used car lot therefore it has to be mechanically solid, which turned out to be correct.

In 9400$ you just cannot beat the value Acura RL brings to the table if you can find a clean one. The only reason not to buy an RL is the fuel consumption. My other two cars are Toyota Echo and VW Jetta 1.4tsi both of them get near 40mpg. Therefore when I am filling up RL I really feel it lol.

But everyone who sees it I get so many complements so it was all worth it.
