I was trying to replace the shifter bulb. Went to Walmart and got the small bulb. Turned out the bulb didn't quite fit and it blinked on then off when I was trying to pit it in.....next thing I realized all the radio, climate control, mirror, afs/vsa, and gauge brightness buttons are not lit but all doors and roof lights work. Weird. I checked all fuses and all are working. I think there is a short in a wire or something, but I can't fix it. I REALLY NEED HELP IF ANYBODY KNOWS A SOLUTION!!!!!

First re-check all the fuses in the cabin and under the hood with a test light. If find it hard to believe that you shorted a wire with a bulb.
This is a long shot, but I would also do a battery cable pull to reset the system.
If that doesn't work you are going to have pull the dash down and check for power at the back of the radio and start tracing it to the failure.

I checked all the fuses three times with a fuse checker. Fuse checker lights up on every fuse. Also pulled the negative battery terminal and waited for a minute...still no lights. The radio works fine but doesn't light up at all. Idk what it is but this sucks cause I can't see anything at night.

Did you ever resolve this? I think I've got the same thing going on.

Chances are, the OP is long gone. There is a fuse box on both driver's and passenger's side. I doubt it is in the under the hood fuse box, but there is one there too.
