Quieter than OEM muffler and resonator. Want ninja quiet car

I have front cat deleted. Only one high flow flowmaster cat converter in the middle.
Have been driving like this for a while. Exhaust is not crazy loud but a little louder than before.

Are there resonator and mufflers that will quiet things down without reducing air flow?

I looked into vibrant 1142 and 1794 resonators so far. Haven't looked into mufflers yet

By definition, resonators, and to an even greater degree, mufflers, reduce exhaust flow. Sorry, fact of life.

also, by definition; deleting cats will make the car louder...

can't have your cake and eat it too...modifying cars is all about compromises...
if you can make it whisper quiet by putting on stock factory cats and add more resonators thereby giving up the power increase...

I was thinking that maybe vibrant puts more sound dampening material around resonator and mufflers they make.

Hard to find aftermarket parts that are actually better or same as oem quality.

as long as it's same airflow as OEM but less noise I'd be interested. Has anyone tried vibrant or something else after market specifically to quiet down the exhaust.

So cold air intakes are pretty much proven to be scam. Waste of money. No hp gains..just gain in noise and a feel like u have more power
high flowing Mufflers are most beneficial on v8, v10 engines with swimming pools of displacement. 8L or something.
Marginally helpful when used on 4cylinder handa civic fart cans or motorcycles..

So on v6 RLs did anyone have good luck with finding better flowing and quiet muffler or resonator?

I did some research a while back but can't find those charts of dB levels of each muffler. And flow capacity

I'm thinking you're blazing a trail for others to (potentially) follow. I've been on car boards for over 20 years and never heard from anyone wanting what you're looking for.

I am thinking of sound dampening+ exhaust tone down. I have pretty quiet michelin mxv4 tires which are quieter than continental contact sport I had before.
i do lots of driving for work and noise does get you tired faster.
Also I don't want to appear like those ghetto ricers who drive without any exhaust.

Vibrant Ultra Quiet is a great resonator it is straight through design. The closer to engine it is installed the greater muffling is achieved. Performance will not suffer. I have 4 Vibrant resonators installed on my exhaust and the quality is top notch 304 steel casing and packing.

This is already one of the quieter cars of its era. I think you could spend a lot of money on exhaust system-based solutions and not get what you want.

If I were in hot pursuit of noise-level reductions on an RL, the first thing I'd try is to swap on the 2011-12 OEM wheels. They have cylindrical "Helmholtz resonator" chambers inside that were claimed to substantially reduce tire noise. Beyond that, and I don't mean this sarcastically, if you're unsatisfied with the RL's noise level you might want to pursue an even quieter car like a Lexus LS430.

It was quiet. But I removed front cat converters. So there is subtle farting and drowning going on.
