Quiet car

http://www.quietcoat.com

Somebody in the 3G TL forum said they have used this stuff on their cars to make them quiet. How many of you would consider putting this on the RL to make it even quieter?

Where would you be willing to put it?

Anybody against this? I am considering buying some and trying it out, but wanted other opinions first

Applying it to the wheelwells seems like a low risk test?

Would have to take off the wheels, anything else? I havn't looked at the wheelwells of the RL to see if there is any other material there (I know on the TL there was something there to dampen teh sound)

I'm game if the wheel well liners are easily removed-I would like to try applying it to the back of the liners. The only sound gripe I have with the RL is the tire noise-this sounds like a cheaper solution than buying new tires. I just got my Helm service manual, so I will research this and report on my findings.

I will look in my helm manual tomorrow but if you find it sooner, let us know. You can always buy my pilot sport a/s for the stock tires at a huge discount off retail price

Removing the inner fender wells looks like a straightforward task. All that's left is to determine the amount of clearance available for the quiet ride goop.

Yes, I just looked at the helm manual to see - it looks pretty easy to do. Is anybody considering this?

The jug of coating and the special spray gun are sitting in my garage waiting for more of my free time (right next to a shiny new wood steering wheel and a backup sensor set).
