Proper way to debadge?

Hi guys for those of you that debadged, how did you do it without scratching the paint. Then what did you used to clean the tape residue? Thanks

if it's a new car you can let it sit in the sun for awhile...that's how mine came off and no goo anything left behind.

I use the heat gun and fishing line trick. Then goo gone and wax to clean up the spots.

Heat is your friend whether it sits in the sun or you steal the wifes hair dryer.

I used a hair dryer and the whole emblems came off then I put some wax on. After that take a cold corona and call it a day.

I was initially going to just paint them black along with the front grill but I am not sure what will look good on white...decisions decisions...

I used a hair drier, soften up the adhesive, then used floss to floss thru the adhesive and the emblem comes off. But for all the gunk that's left behind, goo gone did nothing for me. Instead I used 3M adhesive remover (that thing is the king of adhesive removal). Then all the gunk comes right off. Then I used a buffer to polish the area because most likely there will be some marring from rubbing the adhesive off and the outline of the badge. The buffer takes care of that.
