Problem with the setup features

Hello all,

I still have the problem with the RL when it comes to the settings; I have to readjust the clock. Also, what bothers me is that voice every time you push the audio button or switch from one command to the other. I always shut that voice help going to the setup page and then shutting off the Interface Dial feedback option. I have to do that every time I get in the RL. I'm I doing something wrong. I tried to set all my options and then I pushed the seat number 1 settings and it did not help. DO you guys know something that might fix that? Your input is highly appreciated.

Setup > Interface Dial Feedback > Off

I did this once and it hasn't bothered me since.

As for your comment about having to redo it every time you get the car, make sure you memorize your settings after you turn off the voice.

interesting note on set up features. I shut off my Auto DST, adjusted the time, and everything is fine. Driving with my wife, she got to the car before I did, and the settings were now Driver No. 2

She looked over at the clock 10 minutes later and said, we are making great time after that stop for lunch.

Needless to say, we were an hour behind, and I had to do the setup, turnoff Auto DST, etc for Driver No. 2

Did this many times and did not work at all. I still have to reset everything once I turn on the ignition switch. It even does that when I even just turn the switch off then turn it back on after couple of seconds. very wiered.

Again, are you hitting the "memo" button to memorize your settings after you turn the voice off? If not, it'll just revert back to you old settings where you had the voice turned on.

I'm pretty sure I didn't hit the "memory" botton after turning the voice off and it's stayed off.

Same here.. I did not hit the "Memo" button after I set the Interface Dial Feedback to "Off". It has stayed in the "Off" position since..

OK, since no one else has, I'll ask the obvious question. Are you sure your remote is paired properly with the car? Does it say "hello driver 1 (or 2)" when you start the car?

man i'm not stupid, I only use the remote number 1 of course. I have to reset all these functions every time I get in the car. I will go the dealer on Friday to see what's going on.

Just because you're using one fob, doesn't mean that it's linked with the car. If it doesn't say "Welcome Driver 1", it's not linked.
