problem car wont start. new to forum
hello
my car is in deep trouble. i was about to get off of work and was heading home. i used my key fob to open to doors but it wont open and neither did the lights flashes. so i used my valet key to open the door and then tried to start the car but it wont start either. it seems like the key ignition was locked. i tried jump starting the car and change the batteries from the fob and still doesnt work. so i pop off the plastic covering from the ignition and used the valet key and it starts with alot of warning lights came on. my navigation screen doesnt work. i have heard that the door handle on the driver side was the main component that the car doesnt start because it doesnt recognize the key, so im assuming that the chip inside the door is fried. has anybody have this problem before. i need help . thanks

jump starting...
i would have never jump start a 50,000 car. it may have been a bad battery in the RL. it sound like you do not have the money to bring it to the dealer. but this car needs a Acura dealer. sorry!

Safety Car
^^^Absolutely right. If you read the fine print on the battery warranty that comes with the car, it would appear that the battery is fully warranted for up to 48 months after the date of original purchase with no pro-ration. Hell of a deal!
