Hello All i am in the market for an 06 Rl found one at a local Honda dealer. The car is clean inside out But is this price too much? how much room do i have to neg? The dealer policy is they plain and simple price.

Do you know if it is a BASE or TECH 2006 RL?

A TECH in 2006 included CMBS/PAX/ACC.

Also....where is the car located? Markets vary, as does price.

That may help with pricing opinions.

 

Are they offering a warranty? If so, is it a Honda (Acura) warranty of aftermarket and for how long? There's value in that.

well if this helps, I got my 06 rl with 32k miles for $25,400. This was in early oct. Have you checked kbb.com?

 

The car does not have the tech package, it is not certified by Acura, I will get the Honda used car warranty six month or 6,000 miles pre-owned Vehicle Warranty. This excludes normal normal maintenance and wear items.

I recommend only buying from a Acura dealer and getting it Certified Pre Owned. I just bought a 06 with 34k for $25,200 CPO from a Acura dealer.

 

Just doing a search online in my area all used BASE 2006 RL under 30K miles with CPO and or warranty were $24-26K (7 vehicles)

With no CPO or warranty and mileage north of 50K, that seems a bit high.

But you should search your market area for a better comparison.

Interestingly I saw there are TWO CGP 2008 RLs NEW at a Ga dealer! I think someone mentioned it before.

 

It's my second Acura RL and I never bought from Acura dealer.
I saved thousands of dollars buying from a dealer:
1) I made sure it is still under warranty.
2) I purchased Acura care without deductible

My current car I drove 700 miles to trade my old Acura with this one and saved a bundle.
