Picking up my 05 today!!!

That's right gentleman I'm picking up my silver RL today. One question, it was been a long time since I've bought a car private party, and never one this new/advanced. Just so I make sure I am getting everything, besides two key fobs and a valet (I assume), are there any other things that the guy should have or that I should inquire about?

Thanks

You'll get two key fobs. There's no valet key for this car. I certainly didn't get one when my car was brand new.

Owner's manual
Card with navi and radio codes (though if you don't get them, you can register your name/addy with Acura by phone and get access to that info if he doesn't have that)

And congrats!

we do have the valet keys.... they are hidden inside the key fobs.... push the button on the corner and it release it.... but you gotta pop the keyhole cover open to insert it.... so why bother..... just use the key fob.... the best feature about our key fob is that it works with outer door handle and will detect the driver and unlock/lock when u touch the handle (high tech, bio-metric, touch sensitive door handle).... the buttons on the key fob is for shows only now.... i hardly have to push any button on it:P

The handles are not biometric. There is a dimple on the outside part of the handle and a sensor inside the handle when you put your hand there.

Stroking the handle otherwise, though rather sweet, won't get you in.

Due to technical difficulties I actually picked her up tonight. Only drove her home about 25 miles or so but I gotta say I loved it. It is definately softer sprung than my TL but more than makes up for it in luxury feel. The nav and radio will require a little practice and/or owner's manual time, but I am very happy right now. Great car smiled all the way home!
