Peeling Clear/"Chrome" Front Bumper
I have a CPO 06 with Acura extended warranty purchased from selling dealer. No accidents were noted on Carfax at time of purchase (now I know to check other sources also).
The clear coat is peeling from the front bumber in a number of places, as is the "chrome" trim strip on the front bumper, but only at the sides under the headlamps. Mileage is about 49500.
Has anyone had this happen to their cars and were they able to get this fixed/replaced under warranty?

Sounds like it was repainted actually. Have you tried to see if there is a difference in appearence betwen the bumper cover and fender?
Im pretty sure that paint is part of the warranty up to x amount of miles. it might be in your owners manual.

Agree, I have to wonder whether that was repainted.
It can't hurt to ask the selling dealer whether it is covered under the CPO warranty.

If it was repainted and you weren't told. they shoudl fix it. Beyond that, I'm pretty sure the chrome on the bumper is considered trim and I'm pretty sure trim isn't covered under the CPO.
