Hey everyone. I have an '08 RL that I recently had the engine replaced for. Since I got the new engine, I've noticed that there is a subtle vibration in both the gas and brake pedals that seems to only occur when first turning on the car. After a few minutes of driving it goes away, but when I turn the car off and on again and it's idling, the vibrations are there again. I didn't notice this on the previous engine so does anyone have any idea what the issue could be? Thanks!

 

Did you also get the engine mounts replaced and did you use oem or aftermarket? Do you hear anything outside the car like an exhaust leak around the pedal area?

 

No I kept the same engine mounts, and I don't hear anything leaking.
