Is there a way to check if the PCM software was updated? I know there was a tsb to update the software, just not sure if it was ever done to my car. I recently purchased it a month ago. For the most part it runs really smooth. Just noticed that there's a slight lag when shifting from reverse to drive. If I try to go too quickly the engine will rev and when it finally shifts it takes off with some slippage. I also noticed that if I get off the accelerator and then gas it a bit there's some lag and then it jumps. It's not a big issue, now that I know I usually apply light pressure to the gas pedal after letting off. I just figured it would be more responsive.

 

What year is your car? The 2005-2008 models have always been knocked for poor throttle response.
