P2628

I was thinking to myself that I been lucky to not get any lights on my dash and as soon as I thought that, the check engine light went off along with my sh-awd light. P2628 is Rear Air / Fuel Ratio (A / F) Sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 1) LABEL Circuit High Voltage. Just based on the description, is it possible that it's triggering the sh-awd light too?

And just to double check, B1S1 would be the rear passenger side? Thanks!

the code is for a bad 02 sensor.

bank 1 sensor 1.
so, the rear head and there's two sensors on the rear head. I believe the top one is sensor 1. but dont quote me.

with CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS, you need to trouble shoot or identify each problem one by one.

so, after you finish changing out the 02 sensor, then you'll need to find the cause of the SHAWD light.

if it happens to go out when you change the 02 sensor, you have your answer.

remember, a bad battery can throw voltage spikes throughout the car, tricking the computer to throw LOTS of codes.

be sure its not your battery first!

Thanks! I got my battery just a year ago, so it can't be that. I'll report back when I swap it out

@Sniffles
I know this is an old thread, but my 2006 RL just did exactly the same thing a few days ago.
While driving, it threw P2628, and also lit the SH-AWD warning at the same time. The SH-AWD warning went off after switching off and restarting the engine, and the P2628 disappeared a couple of days later, but I'm not sure if I should be starting to plan some repair.
Do you remember what you needed to do to solve this issue when you observed it a few years ago?

Thanks!
