My RL is having transmission issues and displays a P0796 Code Pressure Valve C stuck off. I have checked the voltage to the solenoid with the connector off and the car on, I only read 1.5v when the connector is off, and I read 6v with the connector on. I have checked this at both the solenoid and the connector from the ECU. I have taken the solenoid off and checked it's operation with 12v and it operates properly, I went ahead and changed it anyway. My question is why the voltage difference with the connector to the solenoid is off? and is the 6V when connected correct?
