Does any one know if the honda s2000 filter will fit. I heard it filters a lot better than other honda filters?

i heard honda filters are now made in canada and are similar quality to fram. just a FYI because some people are concerned about that quality but I have never heard any real problems with it. if the S2000 filters will fit and are made in japan then they are better than the normal honda filters. how much better? dunno, maybe not even enough to be worth it.

Some people switch filters saying that larger ones will give you more filtering surface area but there are a few concerns with this personally and unsure about any real benefits.

If your doing a extended drain interval then I would use a higher quality filter like purolater pureone or mobil 1 extended performace but for normal intervals, yes, OEM is just fine.

I've been using Purolator pureone

I believe it is a superior filter and doesn't cost significantly more

The s2000 filter will not fit, matter of fact, the s2000 is the only Honda that uses a different filter. The s2000 uses the "old type" of honda standard filter. All new hondas use a "thin and long" filter. The s2000 uses a "shorter fatter" type. Honda OEM filters are fine.
