OEM grill misaligned bugging me!

Question OEM grill misaligned bugging me!

It drives me crazy that i can't fix this,tried everything.100% sure car hasnt been in an accident.The grill doesn't click with the plastic radiator cover on passenger side.Will try to post pics to identify the issue.Do u guys have this on your cars and what could be causing it?Thanks

Yes it is common if these pieces have been apart before...getting them to re-align is kind of a pain if the center chrome piece that attaches to the bumper cover isn't perfectly flush. Take the top black plastic cover off and look down between the grill and and the radiator support. If those plastic clips are not seated properly or are missing it usually means the grill is not aligned in the bumper...small grooves on either side of the bumper where the grill sits flush. It could be just dirt in that groove that won't allow the grill to mate up perfectly. Just take the grill out and make sure it is in the groooves nice and tight before you attach the clips and then once you get it straight, the top plastic black cover should pop into the slits on the grill.

^^thanks for the input,i already did that twice to no success.I actually changed that chrome piece after i bought the car because was chipped from rock chips.Everything aligns perfectly besides the area i pointed in the pics.I guess plastics tend to shrink or change shape after a while under heat from the engine.
