Angry No windshield wiper fluid....

Is there a problem with windshield wiper fluid freezing in 2nd generation RL's? I have had this car for almost three months and I noticed how once the weather got cold my wiper fluid was none existent and would work sporadically. So yesterday I went out and brought wiper fluid that was rated as nit freezing up to 20- and still no fluid. I did a internet search and saw folks mentioning blown fuses however I checked and that isn't my case. I can hear the windshield fluid pump working as usual. I think it may be frozen fluid in the tubes from the fluid the dealership put in the car when I brought it. This is some mess I live in NE Ohio where it gets extremely cold in the winter cant drive around with no visibility.

If that fluid inside the system gets frozen it will take long time to melt, every beginning of the winter i have to fill the container with -30C fluid just to be sure her in Finland, this year got it frozen little bit but a day in the warm garage solved it.
That have happened to me few times over the years but nothing has broke.

I think I was too late adding the -20 fluid...I will try to see if a warm garage helps it.

Yup, it's too late; I ran into this issue a few years ago with a used car I'd just purchased from a warm state. Unless you can put the vehicle into a warm environment for at least a few days, that stuff in the washer system ain't gonna thaw until spring.

I had this issue once, and pretty much when it's cold, if I use lot of fluid, I just make sure to pour and fill it up once I am back home... once frozen, until spring don't hope to fix it (or put car into warm environment)

this is why I used to use the -32F during the winter time and use the 0F for summer time.

fawk no, that shit is slick af. I used kept one bottle for each car and another bottle inside the house in case door is frozen (not anymore as I live in Houston now). Its dip below 30F for past couple day here in Houston and my neighbor though I was spraying windex to clean the ice since the I reused old windex bottle.

Yup same here. No complaints from me. I don’t know about you, but I run the yellow Prestone fluid year round.
