Keyfob strange

Something strange started to happen in my 2008 RL.
While the car is running, stopped and the passenger leaves the car and slams the door I get a message the the keyfob is not detecting, flashing for 30 sec and then disappears.
I verified it myself, stopped, opened the door, slammed it, same thing.
It happens with the driver side door too, only if I slam it.
The keyfob is always with me inside the car.
Any ideas where to start looking?

Just an update, if I turn the door light off in the overhead console, so the light will not turn on inside when door is open the problem is not there.
Do you think it is the battery?
I replaced mine 2 years ago.

It's happened to me as well. Never with the passenger, but it's happened before when I opened the door and closed it back.

Also my driver 1 fob won't start the car or work with the touch handle. I can use the button to lock/ unlock. So I only drive with the driver 2 key right now.

so eventually i tested the keyfob batteries, they were a little low, 3V instead of 3.3V for new batteries.
I replaced the batteries and all went away.
I guess the batteries were not low enough to trigger low batteries on the MID.

I've changed my batteries for another reason. And still had it happen. But yesterday with the door lights off and only daytime headlights on, it didn't happen. So who knows?

I've had it happen when something like my cell phone is interfering with the signal.
