I just got in the mail a survey from a survey company called "moritz?'" it is a customizied follow up survey dealing with buying my RL...it was called "avoided models"...It dealed primarily why I bought the RL over the ES...it then asked about the Azera (another model that I had looked at earlier in the process) and the Infiniti G35 sedan.

Then after that they asked what I thought of the Volvo S60, Audi A6, MB E, then be venable BMW.

They're a legitmate organization and I've received auto-related surveys after each of my three Acura purchases. Looks like Acura is trying to find out why the RL is an "avoided model".

 

Hmmmm ... wonder why they'd be asking people who actually bought an RL why other people avoid it?

Yup, got that survey as well. It depends on how you answer the first set of questions how the rest of the survey goes.

 

Yup. I got my survey yesterday. In my case they asked why I chose the RL over the RDX and the SAAB 9-5. Other makes and models they asked about, but I had not considered, were the Mercedes CLS-Class, the E-Class, and the Volvo V70.

 

Perhaps in comparing RL owner's answers to those from similar surveys to owners of other cars where the RL was not chosen, they can better figure out why.
