(All this assumes I go ahead and get me an RL next week. And those turkeys already sold the Lakeshore/Taupe I had my eye on. Dang.)

Wow you've come a long way from being one of the RL's most vocal critics.

Bob -- What's your Build Date?

Bob,
What's the build date on the door sticker of your RL?

I'm kind of curious how they come up with the date, and whether there are running changes during a given model year.

The RL I bought late July has a March '06 build date.

Your pictures look terrific!

Funny you ask. I looked this morning as I was looking for the correct tire pressures. Mine was built in June 2006. What sort of changes should I be looking for? Are there TSBs I should be concerned about that came out after June?

Speaking of which, we need a list of TSBs on the 2006s to put up as a sticky....need to search...

Good luck finding them, there aren't many. Those of us with the 2005's did the hard part of testing the RL out. Y'all have benefitted.... Only thing that still remains a known problem is the I-Pod connection. I've heard it rated "fair" at best by most of the techs at the dealership. It either works or it doesn't.

I just kind of thought of it. After getting my RL, which was done through a credit union, I didn't even think to ask for one with the most recent build date. That thought only came up because the car really needed a claying to get rid of some deposits that no doubt occurred because the car must have sat on the lot for a while. It had only 10 miles on it, so at least it wasn't a test driver.

There were some TSBs mentioned in the Problems and Quirks section, but those were mostly for the 2005 models.

Here's a link with Acura TSBs for 2006. You have to open each one to find out which car its for. They are NOT all for the RL.
