i am new to the site and i am need of some help to prevent being ripped off by some mechanics. The first thing is my driver side outside door handle. On one rainy i was in a hurry to get in the car and pulled the door handle off. I purchased a new one and the mechanic wants to charge me $125 to install it. Has anyone replaced a exterior door handle before? Are there any threads/ tutorials on the site on how to do so? if so please post the link. I will also be replacing my Alternator so i would appreciate some help with that to. Im pretty handy with a wrench, just need some direction. Any help will be more than appreciated. shoot me a pm and we can exchange emails and ill email you the pdfs from the service manuel. you can also download the entire thing(which i highly recommend doing). Dont remember where i got it from but just google it and it should pop up.

Secondly, if you are handy with a wrench then you are also familiar with the service manuals, I suggest ordering one to have on hand.
