My Rl got hit

Today was one messed up day, my car got hit while i was trying to help a friend with their car.
My friend has just purchased a MB CLK convertible with a soft top, and for no obvious reason, the top wouldn't go up and lock in its place, not to mentiond the 30 degree windy weather. We worked on the car for 2 hours without really finding what the issue was, and i looked back at where i had parked my car earlier, and found a Ford van, and Expedition on each side. I won't call it paranoia, but i park my car a miles away so i won't get any scratch and specially in shopping areas, and thats exactly where we were. To make a long story short, i moved my car to a far and isolated spot, to get hit by a drunk Asian guy, who was so drunk that he thought my car was out of place. His 325I had damages to the lower left rear bumper, but my car had broken chrom trim right under the left headlight, the bumper is badly scratched and my front under body lip spoiler must be sanded and repainted.
Driver walked to me and told me he'll give me $300.00 to fix my car and not call the police, and that he couldn't get out of his space, so he had to hit my car and move it. i was out of words, and didn't have my 45. i called the police anyway and the result was: PRIVATE PROPERTY, NO DUI ARREST, NO REPORT, CALL INSURANCE. I'll post pictures tomorrow

Wait, the guy operates a vehicle under the influence, and they dont cite him?
Private property? whose? was it a public business and you were on the business property, or residential?
Hate to say it, but they were probably worried their donuts were going stale.

The car was parked in my GYM's parking lot, which is next to a club. I was aware of that, thats why i parked far away, but the drunk head went and parked there probably because of the same fear o his car being scratched or even hit. The officer told me that he cannot do much unless someone does 100mph and hits someone, but because its a private property, the best he can do is Exchange of information form.

useless cops. i hate cops. 95% of the people who become cops are societal rejects and can't hack it in a job that may require some intelligence.

oh and i got a chuckle out of the clk's top not working. Way to go MB. great cars there and worth the multi thousand dollar premium so people can massage their egos buy owning a MB to try and imrpess other useless people who may be imrpessed by such retarded things.

You can host the pics at a free hosting site like imageshack.us

Then, just copy the thumbnail code for forums and paste it into your reply. If you resize the pictures to a more forum friendly size, then you can copy the forum display code and paste that into your reply.

Wait a minute.. I re-read your initial post and youre telling me that the cops came and didnt give his guy a ticket for DUI? They let him leave the scene?? The moment he left the parking lot, I'd imagine the cops wouldve busted him for driving under the influence.

I can host your pics too if you wish. bri@s2ki.com em over.

I took my car to the bodyshop, and after looking through, the damage isn't as bad as it looks.
The only new part the car needs is the trim, because most of whats on the bumper is of the BMW, and after i cleaned it, it looks like it need sanding and painting, and thats what the bodyshop examiner told me.
