Lower Mesh Grill

Did a photoshop for the lower mesh grill, what do you guys think? It's not a perfect photoshop, just an idea what it looks like. I'm thinking of replacing them with mesh grill DIY. Anybody know how? or Do you know how to remove the stock grill? Thanks.

I'm not sure if I do or don't like it. As far as actually doing it - the guys over in the TL forum have done this before.

As far as removing the lower grill, according to the service manual you must
1. Remove the front bumper (whole section on this, as you can imagine it is complicated)

Then there are hooks and clips along the grill that you have to pull off as well as removing the temp. sensor.

Really? If removing the front bumper is necessary, then I guess I'm gonna forget about it. I thought it would be easier than that. Yeah, I saw the guy in TL forum did it and I must say it's a darn good job.

Btw, do you know where I can view the service manual? Thanks.

The service manual must be purchased from helminc.com it was roughly 70 bucks. If you want to see those specific pages (to show detail on removing the bumper) I can scan them for you later today or perhaps tomorrow.

Actually, sorry will have to wait. I have cut the binding off to scan the pages seperately - when I get a chance (hopefully monday) I will run to the high school and cut it off to scan the pages for you.
