low rumbling noise

I would like to know if anyone experience a low rumbling noise when you lightly tap the gas pedal during a slow acceleration. I feel a low rumbling feeling on the gas pedal too. Can anyone help me out. Thanks.

Also..does the 05 RL have automatic wipers? If so..can anyone help me to activate it. Thanks again.

What I think you are hearing is the power being distributed through the transfer case. It was a little wierd the first few days driving the RL, but you get used to it.

The RL doesn't have automatic wipers.

They are somewhat automatic when in the 'interval' position. I forget the details. Thankfully the details are all in the manual.

Hmm, dont know what kinda noise that is but I do sense this noise when I go over 70 on the freeway. Once I release the gas it always goes away. Dont think that was the noise you are refering to.

Yes, I noticed the same rumbling noise. But it goes away when you give it a little more gas... don't know if it is normal though. Please keep us updated when you get back from the service department.

I have noticed the rumble and floor vibration only in the AM when first driving down the road at shift from 1st to 2nd. After warm up it hasn't repeated.
